Q. What do you do with the poop you scoop?
A. It's scooped, bagged and is removed from your property for proper disposal.
Q. Do I need to put my dogs away when you come to my house?
A. Absolutely not, unless you have aggressive dogs or it becomes apparent that your dog will not let our Scoop Tech into the yard. We get along well with dogs and don't mind the company and your dogs will enjoy supervising.
Q. I'm having all the family over for a bbq, do you provide a one time service?
A. Of course, we understand that life can be hectic. Sometimes you just need a little extra help and we can easily arrange one-time only or short-term service.
Q. I have never heard of such a service, is this for real?
A. While this is new service to the Central Arkansas area, pet waste removal services have been around for over 30 years.
Q. How often does our company come?
A. Most of our customers prefer service one a week. Other service schedules are available; if you would like to know more about these services, more or less often than once a week, please see our rates page.
Q. What happens when it snows or rains?
A. We’ll work in most weather, but snow or very cold weather can stop us. We will usually work in the rain. A very heavy rainfall may stop us though. We will most often be able to make up the work later that week.
Q. What about holidays?
A. We do not work the following days: 1) New Years Day 2) Labor Day 3) Memorial Day 4) Thanksgiving Day 5) Independence Day 6) Christmas Day.
Q. Should I unlock my gate?
A. Yes, Scoop Techs (employees) are not to climb or jump over fences, please have your gate unlocked on your service day. You may provide us with a key to the lock or tell us the combination if that will be convenient for you. If you like, we will loan you a combination lock at no cost to you.
Q. What if I want to skip a service day?
A. You will not be charged if you call the us in time for us to tell the Scoop Tech to skip your yard that day. If the dog will be gone from the yard for a couple of weeks, or for some other reason you want us to skip your yard for a day or more, we can hold service and you will not be charged for those days. There will also be no charge for service missed due to weather or some other event beyond your control. HOWEVER, if your gate is locked or the dog will not allow us to clean the yard when we come to do the work, it may be necessary to charge for the service call that could not be completed. If, for instance, you get to work and remember that the gate is locked, call us early to tell us to skip that day so that you won’t be charged.
Q. How do I pay you?
A. We will send an invoice in the mail at the end of each month, after the work is complete.
Q. Are there any contracts I have to sign?
A. No—We can start and stop your service over the phone. We do not require contracts, there is no minimum service period, and there is no advance notice required to cancel service.
Q. Is there an extra charge for the first time?
A. With your prior approval, there may be an extra charge for the first service if there has been a lot of accumulation of waste over time.
Q. What does your company mean by “SATISFACTION GUARANTEE”?
A. We promise that you will get service you are happy with or you don’t have to pay for it! We know our business depends on doing excellent work, and it’s the quality of our service on which we stake our success. We’re working very hard to make our name mean reliable, high-quality service. We strive to provide perfect service, but if there is ever a time when our service in not completely satisfactory, please let us know right away. We will make it right, either by coming back to re-clean the yard the same day or the next day, or by crediting your account so you won’t be charged.
